Brownbag secures your photos using end-to-end encryption, meaning all photos are encrypted before they leave your device, and can only be read by you and people who are able to answer a question of your choosing. We can not decrypt your photo albums, and will not be able to share them with 3rd parties.

Share your photos via Facebook, email, online chat or anywhere you can think of, and enjoy unlimited privacy.

How it works:

Album creator:
Choose photos from your photo library or shoot a photo using your device camera
Your photos are encrypted on the device, and uploaded to the cloud
You specify a question and an answer, the latter of which is used to encrypt the photo
You may now share the album by: facebook, email, online chat or via any other means

Album recipient:
Opens the link and sees a set of blurry photos and a question
After correctly answering the question, the photos will decrypt and show up
May now view the photos as a series of thumbnails, or in a slideshow
On desktop browsers, it is possible to download the photo album as a single ZIP file
